Origami Smiling Santa Claus around the World

Help origami Smiling Santa to complete his tour of the world!

I created my origami Smiling Santa Claus model on December 15th 2016 and published the tutorial on the Origami Plus YouTube Channel the next day, but that means that Smiling Santa has very little time to go all around the world before Christmas! Can you help by folding him (it's easy!) and sending a picture of Smiling Santa taken in your city? I will then add it on the map below. Let's try to have origami Smiling Santa visit as many countries as possible! :-)

How it works

1. You send me a mail to stephane@origami.plus to tell me that you would like to participate in the origami butterfly flyaway. It would be nice if you could tell me a bit about yourself. :-) If you have a blog or site, a Facebook page, a Twitter account, a YouTube channel etc. Please tell me as well so that we can connect. And of course please give me your name and address so that I can send you an origami butterfly of my design. If you have a favorite color, please tell me and I will try to find it in my paper stash.
2. I fold a butterfly for you, put it in an envelope, and mail it to you.
3. You take a picture of the butterfly in your city / country (preferably outside), and e-mail me the picture. Please tell me where the picture was taken, and if you would like me to mention your name (or just a first name or nickname) and any link. Of course you keep the butterfly. :-)
4. I will then publish your picture on this page (with your name and any detail you would like to share), and try to create a map too. :-)

Origami Smiling Santa Claus Easy Tutorial

It takes only 10 minutes to fold Smiling Santa from a square piece of paper (in the video tutorial I use a red and white 15x15cm square).
