Origami Ninja Star

Ninja Star

Origami Ninja Star instructions and tutorial

Learn how to fold a paper ninja star with one square of paper. You can also stop in the middle of the tutorial to get a traditional 4-pointed star, which looks more like a pinwheel or windmill. The tutorial continues to make a star with thinner edges that looks more like a Shuriken, the iron star that ninjas used to throw to kill their enemies.

This model is special because it uses a 3x3 grid. You have to fold the paper in thirds which feels odd at the beginning, but it gets very easy with practice if you want to make lots of stars.

You need only one square of paper to make this paper star. If you want a two colors star, you can use duo paper with one color on each side.
