Origami Cat With Hat

Cat With Hat
Original model created on 01/01/22 - Published on 07/05/22

Origami Cat With Hat instructions and tutorial

This origami cat face with a hat looks a bit like the cat Baron in the Japanese animated movie the Cat Returns from Studio Ghibli. This origami cat is a very easy origami model, it is perfect for kids and beginners. The origami cat face is flat and you can draw on it to add eyes and whiskers, or even a monocle, glasses or a mustache. Then you can put your origami cat in a frame to make an origami wall decoration. You could even create a gallery of origami cat portraits!

In this origami cat tutorial, I use a 15x15 piece of origami paper (kami) that I cut into two triangles: 1 for the origami cat head, and 1 for the origami hat.

Important note: this origami cat with hat is an original origami model created by Stéphane Gigandet protected by copyright law. Do not publish videos, instructions, diagrams, tutorials etc. that show how to fold this origami cat, and instead share this video. Thank you!
