La Catrina, a beautiful decorated paper skull (Mexican Calavera)

La Catrina is a famous female skeleton character created by the Mexican illustrator José Guadalupe Posada. This origami skull has been folded and decorated by Lauril Moctezuma.

Why fold scary but boring origami skulls for Halloween when you can make fun and colorful paper skulls, decorated like the Mexican calaveras? :-)

Thank you very much for making this beautiful origami Catrina, Lauril!
